IVSA exists to benefit the animals and people of the world by harnessing the potential and dedication of veterinary students to promote the international application of veterinary skills, education and knowledge.

We are

  • Four fourth-year students who brought IVSA Bern back to life a few years ago. We are always looking for additional board members! We are working with the following positions:
  • President - Sophia Jenni: Official representative of IVSA Bern and also helping us to spread the word of IVSA Bern through Facebook, etc.
  • Treasurer - Mirjam Laska: Makes sure that the budget is correct and that we have enough money left for group exchanges and so on..
  • EO outgoing - Christa Trachsel: The position of the EO is split up in two. Is there somene from Bern looking for an internship abroad, Christa talks to the other EOs in order to find a proper placement for the students.
  • EO incoming - Annina Müller: The second part of the EO-task is to place students from abroad in our clinics for internships and to help them finding accomodation and so on.
